Why is my Kenya ETA taking so long?
Kenya ETA applicants who are waiting for an update on their application can view the status of their ETA. All communication is conducted via the traveler's email, so they may remain up to date on their ETA application by checking their email.
At Kenya Immigration Services, the processing time for a Kenya ETA is limited to 72 hours. However, applications can be processed and approved in as little as 05 hours if your trip is rushed.
If the ETA applicants have not gotten a response and have checked their email spam folder, they may contact us for an update.
If the Kenya ETA application is refused, the applicant may have to restart the application procedure by submitting a new form.
Incorrect information is a typical cause of request rejection. Applicants should review their confirmation email to ensure that all of the information they submitted is valid.
A Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation is valid for six months from the date of issuance. The Kenya ETA allows the holder to visit the nation at any time throughout the three months.
