How to get from Arusha to Nairobi?

And arrive at:

  • Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO)
  • Wilson Airport (WIL) in Nairobi.

Ticket Price: Typically USD 100 to 250 one-way, depending on the airline and season.

  • Flight availability varies; travelers should confirm current schedules with airlines such as AirKenya and Safarilink.
  • Note that international or cross-border flights more commonly depart from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), which is about 1 hour from Arusha.

4. Crossing the Border

If you’re traveling overland, you’ll likely cross the Namanga border. The following main points are to be kept in mind:

  • Take valid travel documents such as a passport, and in case needed, a Kenyan visa or eVisa.
  • Look up new border rules, particularly health provisions or modifications in visa provisions.
