No! Bolivian citizens don’t need a visa to enter Kenya. Starting January 5, 2024, all travelers from Bolivia will be required to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before their journey to Kenya.

In an effort to promote tourism and attract more foreign investment to Kenya, the government has abolished all visa requirements for foreign nationals visiting and transiting through Kenya, effective January 2024. This decision reflects our commitment to promoting an open, accessible and inclusive tourism and investment environment.

The vacated visa requirements have been replaced by the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system. The system is designed for foreign nationals traveling to or transiting through the country without a visa, particularly by air.

The Electronic Kenya Travel Authority (ETA) is a semi-automated system for determining the eligibility of tourists to travel to Kenya. It was introduced to simplify the process of obtaining an entry permit for Kenya. The eTA system is designed to simplify the process of applying for and obtaining an electronic travel authorization in a short space of time.

With Kenya ETA, Bolivian nationals can remain in Kenya for up to ninety days. To guarantee adherence to Kenyan immigration regulations, it is crucial for visitors to schedule their trip during these periods.
