Do Algerian Citizens Need A Visa For Kenya?
No, Algerian citizens don’t need a visa to travel to Kenya. In December 2023, the president directed that Kenya become a visa-free nation beginning in January 2024.
This advancement in the immigration sector is currently being implemented through the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system, which was introduced on January 5, 2024. Notably, the eTA system deviates from the popular perception of a visa-free trip by requiring travelers (even babies and minors) to get the paperwork before departure. Citizens of most countries, including Algeria, who visit Kenya for tourist, business, or transit can apply for a Kenya ETA.
Algerian travelers must get an electronic travel authorization (ETA) before entering the Republic of Kenya.
When a Kenya eTA is issued, the tourist must enter Kenya within 90 days after the issue date.
Algerian visitors can apply for a Kenya ETA online by completing a basic form.
