Because it's a lengthy journey from Nairobi, consider spending the night in Eldoret or Kitale before continuing to Lodwar. If you stay in Kitale, we recommend going to Mount Elgon National Park. You may take a Matatu from Nairobi to Kitale, followed by another from Kitale to Lodwar the next day. They go extremely regularly.
